At the first floor of the Uffizi Gallery of Florence a beautiful new dsplay shows part of the collection of portraits, started from the Cardinal Leopoldo de' Medici. A wonderful group of 255 works (out of almost 2000 pieces) is visible again in the 12 rooms recently reopened.Very many artists are represented, from the XV century up to nowadays, from the Gaddi painters to Ai Weiwei, from Angelica Kaufman to Bill Viola and many more.Visit the Uffizi Gallery, reserve a private tour with your licensed Florentine guide!
